Advisor terms
Version 1.0 · Last updated 14/10/2026
These terms are the agreement between NTUK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08765474), registered office Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JN, trading as Launchelo (“Launchelo”, “we”, “us”) and you as a Launchelo advisor. They apply from when you accept them, on your application or in the app, for as long as you are an advisor. Please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, please ask us through our contact form at launchelo.com/contact before you accept.
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms explain how you work with us as an advisor: finding local businesses, introducing them to Launchelo, showing them the demonstration websites (“demos”) we prepare, and helping them accept our quotes. A business that buys from us is a “client”.
1.2 You accept these terms by ticking the box on your application, or by pressing “I accept” in the app. We record which version you accepted and when. You cannot use the app until you have accepted the current version.
1.3 Our general Terms and conditions (launchelo.com/terms) also apply to your use of our website and app, and our Privacy policy explains how we use your personal information. If anything in our general Terms and conditions about advisors differs from these Advisor terms, these Advisor terms apply.
2. Your status
2.1 You are independent and self-employed. You are not our employee, worker or partner, and you have no authority to make contracts or promises on our behalf.
2.2 We do not pay you a salary, holiday pay, sick pay, pension contributions or expenses. You are paid commission only, as set out in section 5.
2.3 You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance (or the equivalent where you live), and for registering as self-employed where the law requires it. We pay your commission without deducting tax. If you are registered for VAT or a similar tax, tell us before we pay you.
2.4 You choose when, where and how much you work. There are no targets and no minimum hours. You are free to do other work, including for other businesses, as long as you never use Launchelo’s information to do it (section 8).
2.5 You must be 18 or over and allowed to do this work in the country where you live.
3. Becoming an advisor, and being removed
3.1 You apply on our website. We read every application ourselves and decide whether to approve it. We do not have to give reasons.
3.2 If we approve you, or invite you, we send you a link to set your password. Before you can work, you must set up two-step login, accept these terms, and give us your address and, outside the UK, your tax or ID number. Once you have submitted your address and ID number, only we can change them, so tell us if they change. To be paid, you also add your bank account details in the app (see 5.8).
3.3 Your login is personal. Never share it or let anyone else use the app as you.
3.4 We may suspend or close your advisor account at any time, for example if you break these terms, act dishonestly, put anyone’s information at risk, or damage Launchelo’s reputation. Section 15 explains what happens to your commission.
4. Your work
4.1 In the app you find and add local businesses, check them, ask for demos, contact businesses, show demos (including in a meeting with the business), send quotes and follow up.
4.2 A business you add is assigned to you, and other advisors cannot see it. If nothing is recorded on a lead you have not yet won for the number of days shown in the app (60 days at the date of this version), another advisor may take it over. A business that has become a client stays with you.
4.3 You may share a job with another advisor (see 5.5).
4.4 You must use only the app, the demos, the quotes, the prices and the materials we provide.
5. Commission
5.1 How commission is earned. You earn commission on payments we actually receive from clients assigned to you: their website build fee (including the add-ons on their quote) and their monthly care plan payments. Commission is earned only when we receive the payment. A quote accepted, an invoice sent or a payment promised does not earn commission. A business that asks us for a website through your personal link is assigned to you. A business that comes to us directly (for example through our website’s contact form, without an advisor’s link) is not assigned to anyone: it earns no commission for anyone unless we assign it to an advisor, and then only on payments we receive from the day we assign it.
5.2 No commission. There is no commission on hosting, credits, domains, business email, VAT, amounts the client pays to other providers, or anything for a business not assigned to you.
5.3 Your rate. Your rate is the level in our commission table for the number of your jobs that have gone live, unless we have agreed a personal rate with you, which is shown in your account. At the date of this version the table is: 20% for up to 20 live jobs, 25% from 21 to 50, and 30% over 50. The rate for each payment is fixed when we receive it, so a higher level applies to payments received after you reach it.
5.4 Changes to rates and settings. We set the commission table and the other figures shown in the app (the share bonus, the smallest payout, the waiting time and the lead time limit). We will tell you at least 14 days before a change that is not in your favour applies. A change never reduces commission on payments we have already received.
5.5 Shared jobs. Two advisors may share a job. The lead advisor proposes the partner and the split, and it applies when the partner accepts. Commission is worked out at the lead advisor’s rate and divided by the agreed split. A shared job counts as half a live job for each advisor. Once accepted, a shared job and its split cannot be changed or undone.
5.6 The share bonus. Each advisor has a personal link. When it brings the number of different visitors shown in the app within the period shown there (10 visitors within 30 days at the date of this version), you unlock a one-time bonus: extra percentage points (2 at the date of this version) on every payment from your next jobs sold after the bonus is unlocked (3 jobs at the date of this version), on top of your normal commission. The bonus can be unlocked once only. A job whose payments are all removed gives its bonus place back.
5.7 Test data. Some businesses, clients and leads in the app are test data, used to show and check how it works. They never earn commission or use bonus places, and you must never contact them.
5.8 How and when you are paid. We pay commission once a month by bank transfer to the bank account you give us in the app. We pay commission on client payments we received at least 14 days earlier, so that refunds and card disputes show first. If what we owe you is below the smallest payout shown in the app (£25 or the equivalent at the date of this version), it rolls over to the next month. A new or changed bank account is checked with you by phone before we pay into it, which can delay a payout. If your bank account is in a different currency from your commission, we will contact you to agree how to pay it. After each payout you can download a payout advice in the app.
5.9 Refunds and reversals. If a client gets a refund, in full or in part, or a payment is reversed by the client’s card provider or bank (a chargeback), the commission on it is taken back from your next commission payment (in proportion, for a partial refund; on a shared job, from each advisor’s share in the same way). If it is more than your next payment, the rest comes off the payments after that.
5.10 Checking your commission. You can see your commission in the app. If you think something is wrong, tell us as soon as possible and we will look into it.
5.11 Nothing to pay us. We never charge you to apply or to be an advisor.
6. Prices, quotes and promises
6.1 You have no authority to change our prices, fees, discounts, payment terms or contract terms, or to agree anything on our behalf. Only we can.
6.2 What a client pays and what they get is set out in the quote sent through the app and accepted by the client with our terms and conditions. Never promise anything outside the quote, such as extra features, delivery dates, discounts, refunds, results, search rankings, customer numbers or earnings.
6.3 Never take payment from a client yourself. Clients pay us directly. Never ask for, write down or handle anyone’s card or bank details.
7. Conduct and compliance
7.1 Contacting businesses. Follow the contact rules the app shows for each country and the law where the business is. In particular: email a business only where the app allows it (in the UK, limited companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs) only; sole traders and partnerships need their prior consent; in a country we have not set up, no email at all); before a first sales call to a UK number, check it is not registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) or the Corporate TPS (CTPS), record the check in the app, and do not call a registered number; contact people only at reasonable times, and always say who you are and that you work with Launchelo.
7.2 The do-not-contact list. Never contact a business or person on our do-not-contact list, or anyone who has asked you or us not to contact them. If someone asks not to be contacted, add them to the list in the app straight away.
7.3 Honest claims only. Say only what is true and what you know to be true. Never invent or exaggerate reviews, testimonials, ratings, awards, accreditations, clients or other facts, about Launchelo or about the business. About a business’s current website, say only what our website check in the app proves; if the app does not show a finding, do not claim it. Explain that a demo is a concept made to show what a new website could look like.
7.4 No pressure selling. Never pressure, rush, mislead or harass anyone. Respect a “no”, and give people time to read the quote. Take extra care with anyone who seems vulnerable, and do not sell to anyone who does not appear to understand what they are agreeing to.
7.5 Represent Launchelo professionally. Be courteous and honest, explain that you are an independent advisor working with Launchelo, and use only the materials we provide when you talk about us, including on social media.
7.6 The law. Keep to the law, including marketing, consumer protection, data protection and anti-bribery law. Never offer or accept a bribe, or offer anything to win business that is not in the quote.
7.7 Complaints. Tell us promptly about any complaint about you or about Launchelo.
8. Data protection and confidentiality
8.1 In the app you will see personal information about business owners, their staff, clients and other people, and confidential information about Launchelo, such as our prices, commission, methods and the app itself. Use it only for your Launchelo work.
8.2 Keep it secure. Use two-step login, lock your phone and computer, never leave the app open where others can see it, and never share your login.
8.3 Do not copy, download, export, forward or store client or lead information outside the app, or put it into any other tool or service, except as the app itself allows for your Launchelo work (for example, sending a quote).
8.4 We are the controller of this information under data protection law (the UK GDPR and, where it applies, the EU GDPR). You use it only on our behalf and on our instructions. Tell us within 24 hours if you think any of it has been lost or seen by someone who should not see it, or that someone else has used your login.
8.5 If anyone asks you about their personal information (for example, to see it or have it deleted), pass the request to us straight away.
8.6 These duties continue after you stop being an advisor.
9. Our name, brand, demos and materials
9.1 While you are an advisor, you may use the Launchelo name and logo, the demos, quotes, guides, ready-made posts and other materials we provide, only for your Launchelo work and only as we provide them, without changing them. This permission is personal to you and ends when you stop being an advisor.
9.2 Do not register domain names, social media accounts, adverts or business names using “Launchelo” or anything similar, and do not make your own websites, leaflets or adverts about Launchelo unless we have agreed in writing.
9.3 Demos are private. Share a demo’s link only with the business it was made for, and never publish or post it.
10. Intellectual property
10.1 Demos, websites, designs, text, images, quotes, the app and all our materials belong to Launchelo (or to the people who license them to us). A client’s rights in their own website are set out in our terms and conditions for clients; until then, it stays ours.
10.2 You may give us notes, ideas and suggestions as part of your work. We may use them freely, without payment.
11. Our clients
11.1 Clients you introduce are Launchelo’s clients.
11.2 Client and lead information from the app may be used only for Launchelo work, during and after your time as an advisor (section 8).
12. Your own costs
12.1 You pay your own costs of working as an advisor, such as travel, your phone and internet, your devices and any printing. We do not repay expenses unless we have agreed in writing beforehand.
12.2 You are responsible for any insurance you need, such as car insurance that covers business use.
13. Liability
13.1 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
13.2 We do not promise any number of leads, demos, sales or any amount of commission, or that the app will always be available or free of errors. We are not liable for lost income or opportunities.
13.3 There is no limit on the commission you can earn: it grows with the business you bring us, and nothing in this section reduces it. This section only limits other claims if something goes wrong. Apart from commission we owe you, which we always pay in full, the most we are responsible for to you under these terms in any 12 months is an amount equal to the commission paid or due to you in those 12 months.
13.4 You are responsible to us for loss we suffer because you broke the contact rules, the data protection rules or these terms, or acted dishonestly.
14. Changes to these terms
14.1 We may change these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law, in how the app works or in how we pay commission. Each version has a number and a date.
14.2 We will tell you about a new version at least 14 days before it applies, in the app or by email, unless the change is needed sooner to comply with the law or is only in your favour. When it applies, the app asks you to accept the new version before you carry on.
14.3 If you do not want to accept a new version, you can stop being an advisor (section 15). A change never reduces commission on payments we have already received.
15. Ending the arrangement
15.1 You may stop being an advisor at any time, without notice, by closing your account in the app (My account) or telling us through our contact form.
15.2 We may end the arrangement at any time, without notice, by telling you through the app or by email.
15.3 When it ends, your login is closed. You must stop using our name and materials, stop contacting businesses for Launchelo, and delete any Launchelo information you hold outside the app.
15.4 Commission on payments we received up to and including the day your account was closed is paid as usual (subject to 5.9). No commission is earned on client payments we receive after that day. On a shared job, the other advisor keeps only their own share.
15.5 Sections 5.9, 8, 9.2, 10, 11.2, 13 and 16 continue after the end.
16. General
16.1 These terms, with the figures shown in the app, are the whole agreement between us about your work as an advisor.
16.2 You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else. We may transfer it to a company that takes over our business, and will tell you if we do.
16.3 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
16.4 We contact you through the app or at the email address in your account. You contact us through our contact form.
16.5 These terms are written in English. Translations are provided for convenience; the English version applies.
16.6 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. This does not take away any rights you have under the law of the country where you live that cannot be changed by agreement.
